When you read this, it obviously means you’ve figured out what I did for our 5 months. I know it’s not much, but I tried lol. I can’t believe it’s been 5 months already.Happy 5 months Mi amor ❤ I can't believe were already 5 months ❤We go through our ups and downs. We’ve been there for each other in the worst situations, but we always come out of it stronger than before. You make me feel like there is always hope, and that I always have somebody, even when I’m feeling miserable. You know exactly what to say to make sure I’m ok and to get me to calm down.I love that we can be completely random one second and serious the next. I know I can trust you with anything and you’ll be there for me when I need you the most. You never believe me when I say I love you more, but I do. I can’t express in words how you make me feel. I feel like nothing I do can ever show you just how much you mean to me.You’re perfect. I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’m really glad you’re here. I’m so glad I met you. I thank God that I get to call you mine every day and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of you countless times.today its been 5 months since we have been together, and still we are in love with each other more than ever... you give me so much, and it feels so right...
Each time you leave me, its like we are worlds apart...
And with every minute that goes by, it's like i cant go on...
I feel so alone,
Even though I'm not...But i love every moment, every second i spend with you,
It's so different to the next...
We can spend days together,
Even if one or both of us is feeling down,
We still have so much fun.I never realized i would feel this way about anyone,
But the moment i met you that all just changed...
I have to thank- you for so much,
Because before i met you i didn't know who i was,
But now I'm with you it's becoming clear
I was so…...

Why I Am Where I Am

...did I know would change my life. I started to gain my confidence back, I had a meaning now. I started to care again which opened my eyes to what was really going on. So, one day after work I went home and just couldnt stand the sight of my boyfriend or that room, so I called his family over, his mom his grandma and his aunt, because I knew that with them over he wouldnt hurt me. When they showed up and told them and him that I was leaving and that I didnt want to be with him anymore. Well that didnt stop him. I called my mom and asked if I could come home, she said yes so I did and I never looked back. Shortly after I moved back in with my mother I moved out and got my own place, I struggled but it felt good to have my life back. After 5months my mom had moved to Missouri and we had been talking about me finishing school and so forth, well I so happened to lose my job at the same time it had been brought up. I moved out to a little town in Missouri to forward my education. In that whole period I started to change. The way I thought the way I saw things. My mind set was changing and I was growing. Instead of doing what every high school drop out would have done which is get my GED, I wanted my diploma. Everyday I told myself, " You can do this" , "You deserve a future". Faith Kept me strong. I went through the steps, did what I had to do and on Christmas Day my teacher called me and said, " Merry Christmas, you passed!" We both started crying. He told me he was proud of me and...

...our daily lives. And all technology starts as a spark in someone's brain. An idea of something that didn't exist before, that once they have invented it —brought it into existence — could change everything. And that activity is generally one that's not very well supported." - Nathan Myhrvold, CEO, Intellectual Ventures From a 2010 interview with Harvard Business Review Introduction In the development of new businesses today, initiatives that spur knowledge-based competitions amplify the importance of boundary spanning activities and tactical coalitions, which cause organizations to focus more on institutional knowledge, system improvement and knowledge management (Quah, 2001). This essay will help the level 3 business school students to understand the required skills about innovation management to to advance their career development and employability. An innovation is something that is new. You are required to write a piece of advice to a group of Level Three business students on the usefulness of innovation management and new product development in an essay format. The topic of the essay is “what skills should a business graduate acquire about innovation management in order to advance their career development and employability”. "We live in a society where technology is a very important force in business, in our daily lives. And all technology starts as a spark in someone's brain. An idea of something that didn't exist before,......

...files. A doctor could do anything with the files without anybody knowing because there is no way to find out. Now the doctors have data bases they put the information into. This is not private at all either. Hackers can hack into anything they want to. They could easily tap into the computer and access someone’s personal information. Another question has come up and that is about emails. There have been some cases where people say that their emails that they send to someone are not only getting read by the person they sent it to, but a third party. There is no evidence or proof that this is true, but this could be a possibility. Almost all social networks have a special way of getting someone’s personal information. Everyone has experienced it at least once. The app Foursquare allows people to click a button and it will post where you are currently at. For example, if I go to Wal-Mart and access this app, I would “check in” at Wal-Mart. It will give the full address of wherever you checked in at as well. This app has privacy settings so that you can choose who can see when you check in and who cannot. Something so simple, invented to keep the human race entertained causes someone’s privacy to go down the drain. Privacy settings are almost like false advertising in all cases. Facebook, twitter, Tumbler, Google, and all those other social networks have privacy settings but we see that they really are not all that great. Facebook you are posting personal activities and......

Privacy in the 21st Century

...society, personal privacy rarely exists. There are certain devices and tools that people use when trying to invade someone’s privacy including hidden cameras and satellites. Privacy no longer exists due to all of the new technologies and programs enabling the invasion of someone’s privacy. What is privacy? Do people today really understand what privacy is? Have they had the opportunity to experience privacy? The definition of privacy is “allowing an individual or group to seclude themselves or information about themselves and thereby reveal them selectively.” When something is private it is usually something personal or valuable to someone. Everyone likes privacy but it is no longer “available.” Everything people hope is private is no longer private. For example, before data bases were even created a patient’s information was recorded and put into files in a filing cabinet. There were no security precautions preventing another doctor from exploring someone’s files. A doctor could do anything with the files without anyone’s knowledge because there was no way to find out. Now doctors have computer databases that a patient’s information is stored into. Although privacy is perceived due to secure firewalls and limited access, privacy can be jeopardized. Hackers have the ability to hack into anything they want. They could easily tap into the computer and access someone’s personal information. Also, a hacker can be someone who is employed by an organization. Another issue has......

...apply. The majority of the participants were not abused so they chose 0. Then there are the 10% or 2 people who were abused between the ages of 6-11; and the 10% or 2 people who were abused between the ages of 12-17. This data is not surprising to me due to my research that I have done stating that abuse usually happens at a young age. Question 4 asks: How long did it go on? This question is also attached to Question 2 because if I know how long the abuse took place I can tell the effect was probably greater. For instance the effect of a child abused for 2 weeks, would be greatly different from a child who was abused for 5 years. The results for this question so far are the following: 0% of the participants were abused for 5 days-5months, 15% were abused for 2-5yrs., 5% it’s still happening to, and 80% have never been abused. This data shows me the duration of the abuse. What are you learning from this? -Joshua Heisler 5/19/09 8:37 AM Question 5 asks: Do you ever feel depressed, or have thoughts of suicide? I ask this question to go along with my case control. If I know this from analyzing the previous data I can tell whether the participant feels depressed, or has thought of suicide due to abuse. The data I collected shows that, 20% have either have felt depressed, or thought of suicide, but 80% have not. From this data I can say they ¼ of my participants feel depressed, or have had thoughts of suicide. Again what are you learning from this? -Joshua......

...be expanded into broader terms. As Mark Twain once said, “kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” Kindness should be an idea that comes from the heart, not the brain; it should be something that you truly feel will make someone’s life even the slightest bit better. Remember in elementary school, all the teachers tried to instill good virtues to live by? As time progressed, people tend to forget that acts of kindness should still be carried with you as you mature. Kindness isn’t some ‘elementary school act’ that should only be followed as a young student; it’s important to know what the valuable things in life are. No matter how small the act of kindness is, someone will appreciate it. My small act of kindness is really small, yet very important. It can do so many things, from brightening someone’s day to potentially saving someone’s life. It’s something that everyone does at least once a day, but not everyone knows the extent of what it can actually do for someone. A virtuous act of kindness could be something as small as a smile. Personally, I feel that a smile can give so much more than money can ever give. Wherever I am, I always try to have a smile on my face because it can brighten someone’s day. You never know what kind of day someone is having based on physical appearance and something as simple and easy as a smile can make them feel important. It may not seem like it, but it really can help someone have a better day. The best feeling......

Compare and Contrast Essay

...Sister Flowers / Someone’s Mother In this essay we will discuss the comparison and contrast of two stories, Sister Flowers and Someone’s Mother. One of the easiest comparisons is that both of these stories were written in the first person by the authors. In Sister Flowers the author tells a tale of the struggle she had dealing with a traumatic event. In the same way, Someone’s Mother tells of the struggle the author had in leaving an elderly woman lost and alone. Also, both stories show a person’s genuine concern to help someone in need. Sister Flowers deals with a woman helping a child to find her voice in life. Likewise, Someone’s Mother shares the story of a woman who helps a hitchhiker who has seemed to have lost her way. Though both stories showed similarities they also were different in many ways. One of the ways in which the two stories contrast is that both took place in different parts of the country and in different eras. Sister Flowers is set in Arkansas in around the 30’s; however, Someone’s Mother was further north in New York and took place in 2007. Another difference between the stories was they both had different agendas. Someone’s Mother was more of a story dealing with the characters compassion. In Sister Flowers you felt the story leaning more towards the inner struggle of the character. In conclusion, you can see that there are many similarities as well as differences in these stories. Both were thoroughly enjoyable and should be recommended for all to...
