2.1 Mga Kaugnay na Literatura “ ‘Manila, Philippines - Inanunsiyo ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang pagbabagong ginawa sa administrasyon ng National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) gayundin sa petsa nang pagkuha ng eksaminasyon. Unang itinakda ang eksaminasyon sa Agosto 31, 2011 ngunit binago ito at ginawang Setyembre 28, 2011. Dati rin itong ibinibigay sa mga fourth year high school students ngunit ngayon ay ibinibigay na ito para sa third year high school students sa mga pampubliko at pribadong secondary schools.Ayon kay Education Secretary Armin Luistro, minabuti nilang i-administer ang NCAE sa mga third year HS student upang mabigyan ang mga ito ng sapat na panahon para sa comprehensive career guidance bago sila pumasok sa tertiary level. Ang resulta ng NCAE ang magpapakita sa interes at career inclination ng isang mag-aaral, maging technical-vocational, entrepreneurial, o full college education course, man ito. Sa ganitong paraan, magagabayan umano ang mga magulang at mga estudyante kung ano ang career o karera na dapat na tahakin ng mga mag-aaral pagkatapos ang graduation. Wika pa ni Luistro, ang NCAE ay isang mahalagang pamamaraan ng gobyerno upang matugunan ang problema sa job mismatch, unemployment rate, at “brain drain.’ “ ~ Philippines Star Ngayon ( Mer Layson )
“Hindi na kukuha ng National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) ang mga Grade 8 ngayong taon.

“As the pioneer batch of the senior high school, NCAE is no longer deemed necessary for our Grade 8 students since they will have a comprehensive learning of what career they want to pursue when they reach Grades 11 & 12,” pahayag ng DepEd. Ngunit, nilinaw ng DepEd na ipapatupad ang NCAE sa mga third year high school sa pribado at pampublikong paaran sa Agosto 28.

Result and Interpretation The concluding phase of the project was affected by the preparation of NCR NAT mock test for second year, NCAE for fourth year. The fourth quarter was shortened due to the changes in the timetable. In addition to the extensive review, regular classes shifted to checking of answer sheets, and doing frequency of errors. However, the result of the post test based on the 2007 Division Achievement Test is an indication that the strategic intervention materials improved the performance level in English of the third year students. ...form of art in which language is used for apparent meaning. A poet is from a latin word “poeta”. It is used by expressing thoughts and ideas deeply. If they do not have the basic knowledge about figurative language then it will be difficult for them to understand and comprehend poem. Moreover, they will be having difficulties interpreting poems Background of the study The researchers choose this topic because understanding the figurative language used in poetry can help more people particularly the students to understand the whole content of a poem with less difficulties. They also choose the third year students as the respondents for them to know their weakness in understanding figurative language and for them to be prepared in coming NCAE when they reach fourth year level. As almost everyone knows, figurative language is taught in our school life. The researchers believe that the third year students are more matured than the freshmen and sophomores students and interpret poem without any doubt.
