I have to say I wish I and seen this documentary earlier. I really like what Jane Elliot decided to do with her class to show that prejudice and discrimination is only a thought process and that there is no actually reason for it to occur. I honestly think that something like this would be good to do in other classes around America. There is still a need for this. Even though racism has decreased over the years it is constantly being replaced. Currently there is wide spread prejudice against the LGBT community, as much as I hate to label as the LGBT community it is necessary to categorize the area that the prejudice still occurs. When it comes down to it all I think that any form of prejudice or bigotry is just a form of labeling that makes the labeler feel they are better or have more power over the labelee.
This form of inductive teaching is extremely effective. She allowed to students to not only learn about discrimination through the activity. She allowed them to feel the discrimination and to hate the act of discrimination. This emotional connection deeply roots the idea that discrimination is bad within their very being. Teaching through emotions is very strong and effective teaching and when you can incorporate an emotional level into a teaching process or activity you are almost always guaranteed success.
I really think that to use this on a more wide spread basis in many communities could really increase the awareness of discrimination in our society today, and could very well decrease discrimination in our society in the…...

Tds Teorija Detekcije Signala

...internu upotrebu (Psihologijski praktikum 1) Citiranje: Ivanec, D. (2007). Teorija detekcije signala. Skripta.

Td Bank

...Td Bank is a national banking institution in the United States that offers banking insurance, brokerage, and investment banking services along the east coast in 15 different states. Td bank is amongst the countries top 10 banks. The bank took its name through a merger with commerce bank and Banknorth. The company operates under Toronto Dominion Bank in Ontario Canada. Banknorth also added a sister company, Td Ameritrade formed under TD Waterhouse. One of the main things I like about Td Bank is its convenience to its costumers. Working for Td Bank, they take pride in their high customer service ratings. The have employees attend TDU a university to train employees how to do their job and also please the customer. The main reason I started banking at Td Bank was when they started no Atm fee campaign, I stayed with TD bank after I opened a free student checking and savings account. Also, they are open 7 days a week with the best hours a bank has to offer. “We will be the Best Run, Customer-focused, Integrated Financial Institution with a Unique and Inclusive Employee Culture.” The mission statement above is strongly exhibited through Td Bank. Td Bank is my choice for personal banking. What makes Td Bank different from most banking businesses, is that they have learned how to come out on top. As stated by Levitt in Marketing Myopia, think outside the box. People who focus on marketing strategy, various predictive techniques, and the customer's lifetime value can rise......

As a part of management understanding the strategic vision of the company will enable management to effectively carry out the operational mission thus ensure all internal and external shareholders whether unique customer service, communicating across the social media with customers and employees, produces What’s In IT For Me (WIIFM) experience which means revenue. TD Bank strengths rely upon their ability to WOW their customer base with being Americas Most Convenient Bank, providing a unique branding within the banking community. Proven business models they have ignored. The only bank that stays open until 8 pm, provides doggie stations equipped with water and snacks for customers animals, and is open most holidays. In the state of South Carolina in which I live and work, The South Carolina TD Bank Campus is the only bank owned property and is the jewel of the TD Canada and TD US. Td Banks Plan

...TD Bank Financial Group: From worst to first Once viewed as a laggard on environmental risk assessment, TD Bank now occupies a lead position, tied with Royal Bank of Canada. With the June 2007 release of its Environmental Management Framework, TD is helping to set the bar in Canada on what banks can and should be doing to mitigate climate risk. The Environmental Framework now includes a statement on climate risk, and addresses carbon intensive industries including oil and gas, coal, electricity generation, and metals production. Significantly, TD has called for governments to implement a carbon tax to provide incentives for greenhouse gas emissions reductions. To begin the process of climate risk mitigation, TD is committed to a carbon audit and an assessment of climate risks faced by their clients. The Environmental Framework indicates that their climate change policy will extend beyond lending to underwriting and equities research. TD’s framework also addresses risks associated with loss of biodiversity, which extends to financing, underwriting, and advisory services. TD is engaging clients to increase the Bank’s understanding of the risks involved in conducting operations in high conservation value forests. For clients involved in logging operations, TD is asking for third party sustainable forest management certification. TD categorically states it will not finance operations that significantly degrade critical natural habitats. High conservation value......
