Mercedes – Benz company originated in two completely independent companies.
In 1890, Karl Benz established Benz & Co company which specialized in manufacturing engine of car.
The same year, Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm MayBach found Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) company. In 1902, DMG and Jellinek concluded an agreement about selling and distributing car that was equipped engine and the car was named Mercedes. That is the name of Jellinek's daughter. The car created legend. So DMG decided to use Mercedes for the brand of company.
After the First World War, business of two companies fell into seriousness crisis. In order to recover operating business of companies, in 1926 two companies Benz & Co and DMG merged together and became Daimler-Benz corporation. New brand was born : Mercedes – Benz.
In 2005 AMG became a subsidiary of Daimler-Benz corporation. AMG specializes in researching and upgrading engine of car for Mercedes. The models car of AMG looks strong, large power. It is for those who like the speed.
Mercedes – Benz always build luxury and modern brand.
Symbol of three-pointed star symbolizes the three golden rules of Daimler, that is the motorisation "on the ground, on water and in the air".
Sale Turnover
Mercedes-Benz broke the record with 1,461,680 vehicles were delivered to customers worldwide in 2013. In 2013 Viet Nam market, Mercedes-Benz also achieved record growth of 65% over the same period last year. The number of sold cars continued to increase in 2014.
